First we'll get rid of the top section, where the buttions are. We'll need to get rid of 5 screws in total. Make sure you use little compartments to put your screws in and take a note of the size of each screw, if it is painted or not and where it goes.... it never too good or rewarding to put everything back and wonder where these 2 long screws you have left go..... First one: in the memory card trap. |

And the last one is the top one of the left side.... Well, you can acutally take the 2 screws off, we'll need to for later. |
| Gently take the top section off. Be very carefull, the only ribon cable we'll have to deal with is right here. With a flat screwdriver, gently push the sides of the black part of the connector away from the white part : maybe a millimeter or two... it is held, you won't loose it. Then pull the ribon out of the connector. |

Now unscrew everything under the camera... |
| Finally get the screw under the memory door.... Now open the screen completely on the left and remove the back of the camera. You will also get the little side piece from the left. |
